The B2B meetings with Norwegian and Finnish partners are implemented within the second stage of the Union initiative. Tech industry is one of the most dynamic industries in Ukraine, growing by 20-30% every year despite the COVID-19 crisis. At the moment, the Ukrainian talent pool consists of more than 4,000 technical companies and 212,000+ IT specialists. Considering the industry’s rapid growth and rising demand for cooperation with Ukrainian technical specialists globally, it was decided to implement the IT Export Alliance initiative to assist companies in their export activities and in September 2020 the Union was launched. The organizers are the largest national association of IT companies — IT Ukraine Association — with the support of the USAID's Competitive Economy Program, along with the state institution "Office for Entrepreneurship and Export Development" and CIVITTA being their partners.
